Morphies
A cathartic exploration of raw materials and their elemental transformation. Moving away from industrial standards and the pursuit of objective perfection, I embrace the unpredictable nature of glass, allowing an organic evolution.
The reflective opacity unites the object into a cohesive whole, transforming fragmented parts into a singular form that engages with light through optical surprises—drips, nodules, twists, and layers—creating a mirror-like surface that reveals new details with every shift in perspective.
My studio practice is experimental, constantly exploring the relationship between materiality, form, and process. Through these works, I seek to engage with glass not just as a medium, but as a living, evolving conversation.
Long Horn
Through permanent materials chosen for their resilience and timelessness, I aim to preserve a sense of place— a reflection of what once was and what still is.
This work is not just an artifact of the present, but a vessel designed to carry the spirit of the high desert into the future. It stands as a monument of endurance, paying tribute to a landscape that continues to shape identity, memory, and meaning across generations.
